These are managed in the order they are received and will not always be successful. If you want to join this class, you will need to submit a ' swap request' or ' join a waitlist'. Select the ‘clash’ button for more information or read our troubleshooting guide. You need to deal with a clash as soon as possible. This means there is a clash with one of your other allocations. If you would like to allocate yourself to this class, select ‘select’. This means you are not currently allocated to this class but there are free places remaining. Your place will become available to other students and you may not be able to allocate yourself to this class again Before you select the trash icon, make sure you understand the significance of this action.
If you would like to remove this allocated class, you can select the 'trash' icon. If you're happy with this class allocation, you don't need to do anything. This means you're allocated to this class Make sure you review each of the statuses as it will tell you if you need to take action. The coloured icon next to each class tells you its status. Select the ‘Timetable’ tab in the menu bar to access your allocated timetable and view your class details. You can find out what day and time the 'review and adjust' period opens by checking the timetable dates table.

In many cases, it might not be possible to make adjustments because of class availability, timetable clashes or departmental restrictions. You may be able to obtain your previous class times by adjusting your new timetable, but this will depend on availability. It’s important to be aware that once you’ve made changes to your timetable, there is no guarantee you will be able to return it to its previous version. During the ‘review and adjust’ period, you will need to make sure you are allocated to classes for the units of study you are enrolled in. Once you’ve been allocated a timetable through Sydney Timetable, you will be able to review and adjust your timetable up until the last day to add a unit of study for the semester or session (which is the end of the second week of classes for semesters 1 and 2).
